The Imagined Village will be returning to Salisbury City Hall this Saturday as part of the Salisbury International Arts Festival and will be joined onstage by their good friend, Billy Bragg! Click here for tickets. The band will also be giving a free talk at the Salisbury Playhouse Studio from 18.30 – 19.30. This event is free but ticketed, so be quick!
This Sunday sees The Imagined Village return to the stage for a set in Brighton as part of the Festival Fringe. The band had a fantastic time in Brighton last time round and are excited to be back again!
Sunday 2nd May sees the arrival of Folk Against Facism’s Village Fete on London’s South Bank. Imagined Village collaborator Jackie Oates will be on hand, in May Queen attire, to regale passers by with song, friendly chatter, and a new ballistic from our friends at Lush called BTNG (B*ll*cks To Nick Griffin). Those of you who caught the Imagined Village on tour in January may remember Simon Emmerson capturing you on film giving the two-fingered salute to the BNP man. This bath ballistic adopts the same gesture. Come on down!
