Dizraeli and the Small Gods set out to explore the connection between modern hiphop and old folk forms.  In the process, they’ve created music unlike anything you’ve heard: hiphop holds down the drums over which ancient folk and classical meet the dirty edges of jazz.  It’s hard-hitting and tender, head-nod and melodic in equal measures.  The band is headed by award-winning rapper and multi-instrumentalist Dizraeli and featuring World Female Beatbox Champion Bellatrix. ‘Moving in the Dark’ is an outstanding debut release for the band.  Their genre defying style and approach is sure to make Dizraeli and the Small Gods one to watch in 2013

It is with regret that ECC Records have to announce that Dizraeli and the Small Gods have been forced to cancel the opening live dates between February 28 and March 14 of their forthcoming tour.

Frontman Dizraeli has to undertake urgent treatment for vocal fold nodules, and a full recovery is expected.  As a result, doctors have ordered him to rest his voice and recuperate before continuing with work commitments.  Unfortunately, this means the following shows will have to be re-scheduled: Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, York, Sheffield, Norwich, Leicester, Birmingham, Glastonbury

Ticket holders for all cancelled live dates will receive a refund from the point of purchase or use.
